What Are You?

Faces of Digital Media: Joel is a Megadeth T-Shirt

We met up with Joel at his agency in Chicago and found out he and our photographer had a lot of the same music taste. I.e. thrash and death metal. Anyway, he’s a pretty awesome dude, and apparently he thinks his team is, too. He calls them ‘the best team on the planet’. When he’s not managing digital media programs, he’s most likely somewhere headbanging or being a badass. That’s why he is his Megadeth T-Shirt.

Faces of Digital Media: Marissa is Purple Nail Polish

Marissa is a senior media analyst who works at a downtown Chicago advertising agency. When she isn’ busy planning and buying, she’s at her local arcade playing basketball or air hockey with friends. She loves the color purple, as you can probably tell, and whenever she goes to get her nails done, they’ll be one of many shades. Thanks for everything Marissa!

Faces of Digital Media: Natalie is a Planet Earth Book

We met up with Natalie in Chicago at a major online advertising firm. The view was amazing from her office, so we decided to do the shoot overlooking part of the Chi-Town Skyline. Natalie was a trooper. She decided to be a planet earth book because of her love for hiking and being active, as well as her love of reading. When she’s not researching rainforest trends, you’ll most likely find Natalie shopping for the latest styles and exploring Chicago.

Thanks Natalie!

Faces of Digital Media: Janina is an American Flag

We met up with Janina on a beautiful day in Chicago at her advertising agency. She was such a trooper and an awesome model. When she isn’t working diligently on campaigns for clients, she is most likely staying fit at yoga or shopping for the latest fashions. She’s a fun, fit American girl and that’s why she is an American Flag.

Faces of Digital Media: Shreyas is a Designer Tie

When he’s not directing major accounts for his Chicago based advertising agency, Shreyas spends his free time bettering himself through business, education and creativity. He loves investing in stocks and is quite the entrepreneur. The first thing we noticed when we saw him was his sleek style, and that’s why he is his designer tie.

Shreyas is what he owns

Faces of Digital Media: Jessica and Maris are Winter Boots

Jessica and Maris live and work in online media in New York. When Jessica isnt planning and Maris isnt managing multiple accounts, they’re probably at a Broadway or Off Broadway show. You might catch them jamming out together to their diverse music tastes, too. We met up with them on a chilly (but sunny) winter day in Manhattan and we couldn’t have had more fun.

Thanks Jessica and Maris!

Faces of Digital Media: Jade is an Airplane Ticket

Jade is VP account director at a digital agency in Boston. She works with some of the biggest brands in travel and was a total blast to shoot. She loves learning new languages and pushing herself constantly. Her favorite cities include Paris, Horta, Istanbul and Paris–but she’s been to a lot more. You can catch her at the airport with her plane ticket to wherever!

Thanks Jade!

Faces of Digital Media: Yeliza is a Spatula

Yeliza lives and works as an online media supervisor in Boston. She manages campaigns and teaches new members of her team how to work on digital platforms, but Yeliza has another side. She named her car Lexi. She cruises around listening to Reggae or R&B and plays basketball after spending the day shopping. But on most nights, you’ll find Yeliza at home with her spatula mixing up something tasty for her and her friends.

Thanks Yeliza!

Faces of Digital Media: Ben is a Cheeseburger

We were psyched to hook up with Ben, the Co-founder & CEO of Thrillist in Soho for his Faces of Digital Media photo shoot. This New Yorker was listed on Business Insider’s Silicon Alley Top 100 list of New York’s Coolist Tech People. He’s an avid fan of cheeseburgers and frequently goes to Burger and Barrel for his fix. When not stuffing his face Ben is cracking the whip at one of his 3 companies to make sure that no one is slacking, if you run into him, ask him about the stun cane he owns.

Thanks Ben!

2011 BIMA Gala–OwnerIQ Photos

On December 1st, 2011, BIMA hosted their annual Gala at the Boston Harbor Hotel. We showed up early to set up our photo booth and get our costume props together. It was a total blast. By the end of the night there was a line! We’re totally glad that everyone had fun, and can’t wait to see you at the next event in Boston.
